Senior Tim Mehl had the performance of a lifetime as he led LVC to an upset of #5 Messiah last Wednesday. Mehl made nine saves to hold off 20 Falcon shots, including three spectacular diving saves in a one-minute sequence late in the second half to prevent a Messiah winner. Mehl followed that up by making five saves and allowing one goal in LVC”s 5-1 victory over Widener to secure a share of the regular-season title.
