Catherine Stone was named the MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Player of the Week after she went 5-0 in a 2-1 week for the Dutchmen, including a pair of dominant conference victories. The junior began the week with a 6-4 doubles win at number one with Erika Badner and a thrilling comeback three-set singles win at number two by a score of 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 in a tough 4-3 defeat to Drew. Stone played in just three matches during a pair of 7-0 victories over FDU-Florham and King's on Saturday to begin conference play. She played doubles in both matches, earning 6-0 victories at number one with two different partners. Her only singles match of the day was a quick 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one against King's for her fourth double bagel of the year. Stone is undefeated in duals this season at 11-0 in singles play.
