Owen Berry was named the MAC Freedom Baseball Player of the Week after he had a big week, leading the Dutchmen to a 3-2 record with nine hits, including three doubles and one home run, 10 runs, five RBI, and six stolen bases as the leadoff hitter. The senior batted .500 with an on-base percentage of .609 and a slugging percentage of .833. He also pitched the final inning and struck out two batters in a 13-2 victory over Delaware Valley. Berry recorded three multi-hit games in the series against the Aggies. He had three hits, including a double, and scored a run in Friday's 16-6 defeat in Doylestown. On Saturday, he had two hits in each game as the teams split the doubleheader in Annville. The shortstop scored three runs, had an RBI double, and walked twice in the series finale after knocking in two runs and having a fourth-inning solo homer in a tough 9-8 defeat to begin the day. Berry also contributed two hits, five runs, one double, and two RBI in a pair of non-conference wins over Stevenson and Lancaster Bible earlier in the week.
