Holly Grube was named the MAC Freedom Softball Player of the Week for the second time this year after she led the Dutchmen to a 4-0 week, including a big conference sweep of Stevens by slashing .643/.600/.1.357. The sophomore had nine hits, including three doubles, two triples, and a home run while driving in four runs and scoring six times. Grube was a huge factor in the two wins over the Ducks. She went 3-4 with an RBI double and an RBI triple and scored twice in an 8-3 victory. In game two, she hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning to tie the game in an eventual 2-1 victory. Grube was 2-3 in the game and also pitched. The sophomore shut down the Ducks, allowing just one unearned run on two hits with three strikeouts. Earlier in the week, Grube went 4-7 with two doubles, a triple, three runs scored, and an RBI in a sweep of Lycoming.
