Mia Frisoni was named the MAC Women's Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this year after she earned a pair of wins to close out the regular season, including her fifth shutout of the year. The junior tied her own program record with her fifth shutout of the season on Friday with 28 saves in a 3-0 victory over Alvernia. Frisoni then ended the regular season with 30 saves in a 5-4 overtime victory over Stevenson.
