Chris Branch was named the MAC Men's Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after he made 41 saves on 43 shots in a 2-1 overtime defeat at Alvernia in the final game of the season. The senior ended his career with an outstanding performance against the Golden Wolves, stopping all 18 shots he faced in the first period, 11 of the 12 shots her faced in the second period, and all 12 shots he faced in the third period. Branch kept the Dutchmen in the game despite getting outshot 43-16 by Alvernia.
