Laken Kelly was named the MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Player of the Week after she had the match-clinching point in both matches on Saturday as LVC extended its win streak to five with victories over Eastern and Ursinus. The sophomore started the day with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at number two singles in a 7-0 sweep of Eastern at the Shankroff Tennis Center. She was the third singles court to finish, giving the Dutchmen their match-clinching fourth point. Kelly then went 1-1 in a thrilling comeback 4-3 victory over Ursinus. After she dropped a 6-4 decision at number three doubles in just her second doubles match of the year, the sophomore came up big in singles with the match-clinching win. Kelly earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory at number five for her fifth consecutive singles win of the year to clinch the Dutchmen's fifth consecutive dual win.
