Nikki Denbowski was named the MAC Freedom Women's Tennis Player of the Week after she won five of her six matches during the week as the Dutchmen went 3-1 in Hilton Head. The senior was 2-0 in singles play as she earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number five in a 7-0 victory over Saint Vincent and a thrilling three-set 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (13-11) victory at number four singles after a lineup change after doubles moved her up a flight during a 6-1 victory over Wilkes. She was 3-1 in doubles play during the week, earning a 6-1 victory at number two during the Saint Vincent victory, a 6-2 win at number three during the Wilkes victory, and a 6-1 victory at number three in a 4-3 defeat to Lynchburg. Her only defeat came at number one doubles in a tiebreak by a score of 7-6 (7-2) in LVC's 4-3 victory over Roanoke.
