NEWTOWN, Pa. – Four Lebanon Valley College student-athletes from three teams garnered recognition from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for their production during the past week of competition as the conference office announced its weekly awards in a release on Tuesday, Sept. 29. 
 
Senior Rory Lieberman was honored as the MAC Men's Runner of the Week, following his strong performance for LVC's men's cross country team at the Lock Haven Invitational. Dutchmen Men's Soccer also swept the MAC Freedom weekly awards after notching a pair of victories this past week, as sophomore forward Gavin Rapp was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week while first-year goalkeeper Isaac Yerger was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week. Additionally, senior Jillian Fidler collected her third straight MAC Golfer of the Week award for her strong performance for LVC's women's golf team at the Gettysburg Invitational. 
 
Lieberman won the Lock Haven Invitational 8K in 24:43.1, edging a 184-runner field of Division II and Division III competitors by seven seconds on Saturday, Sept. 26. He led Lebanon Valley's men's cross country team to a second-place team finish and top Division III honors among 22 scoring teams. This is the first weekly honor the Dutchmen have received this fall, and it marks the sixth time Lieberman has been honored as the MAC Men's Runner of the Week during his cross country career. 
 
Rapp scored twice in a pair of road wins for LVC's men's soccer team, including the game-winning goal in the 37th minute during the 2-1 win at Lycoming College on Wednesday, Sept. 23. The forward also netted Lebanon Valley's first goal in the 4-1 victory at Albright College on Saturday. Rapp has scored in three straight games. This marks the second MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week honor Rapp has earned in his career, as the sophomore was also recognized on Sept. 8. 
 
Yerger made seven saves and allowed just one goal in two wins for Lebanon Valley's men's soccer team. The first-year stopped four shots in the victory at Lycoming and made three saves in the win at Albright. This marks Yerger's first career conference weekly award. The goalkeeper is the first member of the Flying Dutchmen to be selected as the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week since current graduate student center back Logan Hicks on Sept. 16, 2025. Lebanon Valley has been presented with three conference weekly honors so far this fall. 
 
Fidler tied for ninth in a field of 36 with an 85 (46-39) for Dutchmen Women's Golf at the Gettysburg Invitational on a rainy Saturday. The senior recorded six pars and two birdies on the par-71 course. Fidler has now received three MAC Golfer of the Week awards so far this fall, as she was also honored the past two weeks on Sept. 15 and 22. She has earned this award five times in her career. Additionally, Fidler has been recognized with each of Lebanon Valley's three conference weekly awards this season.
