NEWTOWN, Pa. – Four Lebanon Valley College student-athletes were recognized by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for their production during the past week of competition, as Dutchmen Field Hockey swept the MAC Freedom weekly honors and members of the College's football and women's golf teams each collected an award.
 
Senior forward Claire Weidenhammer was recognized as the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week for her contributions to a pair of victories for LVC's field hockey team. Senior goalkeeper Ella Weidenhammer was also rewarded for her efforts in the two wins for the field hockey program, earning MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Additionally, senior linebacker Brandon Choi was listed as the MAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the home opener for Lebanon Valley's football team. Furthermore, senior Jillian Fidler was named the MAC Golfer of the Week after a strong round for LVC's women's golf team at the Elizabethtown Invitational. 
 
Claire Weidenhammer piled up seven points on three goals and an assist as Lebanon Valley's field hockey team went 2-1 last week. She scored twice, including the game-winner, in a 3-0 win over Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The senior then added a goal and the assist on the game-winning tally in a 2-1 win over St. Lawrence University on Saturday, Sept. 12. This marks the forward's second MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week award of the fall, after earning this honor last week as well. She has received this award five times in her career.
 
Ella Weidenhammer made 15 saves on 20 shots and posted a shutout as Dutchmen Field Hockey picked up two victories. She made two saves in the win over Penn State Harrisburg and added six more stops in the victory over St. Lawrence. The goalkeeper's first conference weekly award of the campaign marks the third of her career. The Dutchmen have been presented with three weekly honors from the MAC Freedom so far this year.
 
Choi racked up 13 tackles and returned an interception 37 yards for a touchdown that gave Lebanon Valley's football team a 17-3 lead in a hard-fought loss to Delaware Valley University this past Saturday. Choi's first career MAC Defensive Player of the Week award marks LVC's first conference weekly honor of the season. The senior is the first member of the Flying Dutchmen to be chosen as the conference's Defensive Player of the Week since safety Carter Foust '26 on Sept. 30, 2025. 
 
Fidler tied for fourth overall and was tied for the top Division III finisher at the Elizabethtown Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The senior carded an 83 (42-41) with nine pars for LVC's women's golf team at Hershey Country Club. Fidler's first MAC Golfer of the Week award of the season marks the third of her career. This is the first weekly honor the Flying Dutchmen have collected since Fidler was recognized last spring on April 7.
