ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley Field Hockey Head Coach Sophie Popp has announced the hiring of Bella Culp as Assistant Coach.
 
"We're excited to welcome Bella to our coaching staff," Popp stated. "Her experience and knowledge of the game will be a great addition to our program, and we're confident she will help our players grow both on and off the field. We're thrilled to have her on board."
 
Culp was a two-sport standout at Division II Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, as a four-year starter in the midfield on the field hockey squad and a four-year starter as a shortstop and outfielder on the softball team. The 2023 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Second Team All-American and First Team All-PSAC selection played in 76 games during her four years in Bloomsburg and recorded 33 points on six goals and 21 assists with one game-winning goal. She led the Huskies to the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011 as an at-large selection as a senior captain in 2024. Culp finished fourth in Division II and second in the PSAC with 11 assists as a junior in 2023.

"I can't wait to begin working with Coach Sophie Popp and the LVC staff to help student-athletes strengthen skills, build confidence, and support the team's continued success. Go Dutchmen!"
 
Culp is a 2025 graduate of Bloomsburg with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Professional Sales and Marketing. She earned many academic awards during her time as a Husky, including being voted a College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-American as a junior. She earned NFHCA Scholars of Distinction and National Academic Squad honors all four years, CSC Academic All-District twice, PSAC Scholar-Athlete twice, and D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award twice. She was named the Joanne McComb Female Athlete of the Year and Outstanding Senior Female Scholar-Athlete at Bloomsburg.
