ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley athletic department announced the team's Most Valuable Players from the 2025-26 athletic season.
Each MVP was chosen by the coaching staff of the respective team.
Baseball – Owen Berry, senior
The All-MAC Freedom Second Team shortstop wrapped up a great career for the Dutchmen with his best year at the plate, batting an outstanding .340 with 49 hits, including 18 doubles, one triple, and one home run. He knocked in 21 runs and was a force on the base paths, scoring 41 runs with 21 stolen bases to break the program's career stolen base record.
Men's Basketball – Kyle Tang, senior
The MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete ended his strong career with All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention honors as the team's starting point guard. He had the best year of his career as he averaged 10.4 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.4 rebounds while playing 31.9 minutes a game. Tang shot 50 percent from the floor and recorded 48 steals.
Women's Basketball – Riley Hevelow, senior
The All-Region guard ended her outstanding career with All-MAC Freedom First Team honors as well as being selected to play in the WBCA Senior All-Star Game. She averaged 15.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 35.0 minutes a game while also scoring the 1,000th point of her career. Hevelow started all 25 games she played in and shot 43.8 percent from the floor.
Men's Cross Country – Rory Lieberman, junior
The two-time MAC Runner of the Year won his second consecutive conference title and led the Dutchmen to the program's first-ever National Championship appearance as a team. He finished 97th at the National meet and 16th at Regionals to pace LVC and earn All-Region honors. Lieberman ran a career-best time of 24:19.2 at the Lock Haven Invitational.
Women's Cross Country – Coyla Bartholomew, senior
The MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete wrapped up an incredible career by qualifying for the National Championships as an individual and earning All-Region honors with a 14th-place finish at the Mid-Atlantic Regional. She finished 219th at Nationals and helped lead the Dutchmen to the program's first-ever MAC title with a 12th-place finish at the conference meet. Bartholomew ran a season-best time of 22:03.1 at the Lock Haven Invitational.
Field Hockey – Claire Weidenhammer (Offensive), junior
The MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year earned All-Region honors after the best year of her career. The forward scored 19 goals in 18 games with five assists for 43 points. She scored in 11 games and had three game-winning goals to pace the offense. Weidenhammer had three hat tricks during the year.
Amelia Taube (Defensive), senior
The All-Region defender earned First Team All-MAC Freedom honors as the anchor of a defensive unit that ranked sixth in the nation in goals against average and ninth in shutouts. She recorded six defensive saves while shutting down every team's top offensive threat.
Football – Dion Bryant (Offensive), senior
The running back powered the Dutchmen's offense with the best season of his career by scoring seven rushing touchdowns with a career-high 888 yards. He averaged 88.8 yards per game and 6.0 yards per carry with a long of 51. Bryant also caught six passes for 47 yards and one touchdown to give him 48 points on the season.
Carter Foust (Defensive), senior
The Fourth Team All-American safety ended his career with an incredible season as he also earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-MAC honors. Foust intercepted four passes for 147 yards with one 90-yard touchdown return and five pass breakups. He also made 64 tackles and forced a fumble.
Jonathan Hannevig (Special Teams), senior
The All-MAC Honorable Mention on special teams had an excellent third season for the Dutchmen. He returned two punts for 29 yards and returned two kickoffs for 26 yards while also playing a big role on the defensive side of the ball. Hannevig blocked two kicks and made one tackle.
Men's Golf – Brayden Herr, sophomore
The sophomore had a strong season for the Dutchmen with an 80.7 adjusted scoring average in 21 rounds. He finished 15th at the MAC Freedom Championships with a score of 167, with rounds of 82 and 85. Herr finished second at the DeSales Fall Classic with a one-under 143 with rounds of a career-low 70 and 73.
Women's Golf – Jillian Fidler, junior
The All-MAC Second Team junior led the Dutchmen with an 81.2 adjusted scoring average in 13 rounds. She won four events and finished in the top three at six of the 12 events she played in. Fidler finished tied for sixth at the MAC Championships with a score of 168, with rounds of 85 and 83. She broke the program record with a round of 71 to win the Susquehanna Fall Invitational.
Men's Ice Hockey – Chris Branch, senior
The All-MAC Honorable Mention goalie was a force in between the pipes with the best season of his career. He had career-highs of eight wins, 728 saves, a 2.99 goals-against average, and a .925 save percentage in 20 games. Branch led the conference in saves per game with 36.4, including a season-high 54 saves in a 4-0 shutout of Stevenson.
Women's Ice Hockey – Anna Dale, junior
The All-MAC Second Team forward had another great season on the ice with 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists. She led the Dutchmen to a program-record 19 wins with five game-winning goals, including the overtime goal in the victory at 15th-ranked Wilkes University. The junior was an incredible +29 on the ice with one hat trick in 26 games.
Men's Lacrosse – Ryan Grace (Offensive), sophomore
The All-MAC Freedom First Team attackman had an outstanding first year at The Valley with 73 points on 47 goals and 26 assists. He scored three game-winning goals while leading LVC to a program-record 13 victories. Grace recorded 10 hat tricks in 18 games with a season-high five goals in three games.
Kellen Markley (Defensive), senior
The senior goalie finished his career strong with a career-best 9.76 goals against average, a program-record 13 wins, 178 saves, and a career-best .525 save percentage. He helped lead the Dutchmen to their first postseason appearance in five years while adding 42 ground balls and six caused turnovers to his stat line.
Women's Lacrosse – Molly Whisler (Offensive), senior
The All-MAC Freedom Second Team attacker finished her career strong with a team-high 50 goals in 18 games. She added 11 assists for 61 points while scoring three game-winners. Whisler recorded 11 hat tricks with a season-high five goals twice.
Chloe Moser (Defensive), sophomore
The two-time All-Region defender was a force for the Dutchmen and earned All-MAC Freedom First Team honors for the second consecutive season. She won 93 draw controls, caused 32 turnovers, and picked up 52 ground balls to power the defense.
Men's Soccer – Nathan Prex, senior
The Second Team All-American forward finished his incredible career as the program's best player ever with 48 points on a program-record 21 goals and six assists. He scored five game-winning goals and was ranked third in the nation in points and goals. Prex recorded a point in 16 of 20 games and scored in 14, including scoring at least one goal in nine straight games during the early part of the season.
Women's Soccer – Alison Sepkovic, senior
The All-Region midfielder finished her career strong as she also earned All-MAC Freedom First Team honors. She had career-highs of 14 points on five goals and four assists with one game-winning goal in 19 games. Sepkovic helped lead the Dutchmen to the program's first postseason appearance as members of the MAC Freedom.
Softball – Holly Grube, sophomore
The Second Team All-American at second base was named the MAC Freedom Player of the Year after breaking program records in hits and doubles. She batted .471 with 74 hits, including 19 doubles, six triples, and three home runs while knocking in 31 runs and scoring 42 times in 43 games. Grube was a force on the base paths with 24 steals while going 6-3 with two saves and a 3.97 earned-run average in the circle as a pitcher.
Men's Swimming – Ryan Kuffa, first-year
The first-year had a great rookie season where he qualified for the MAC Championships in multiple events. He finished 19th in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 50.31 seconds, 23rd in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 23.18 seconds, and 24th in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 5:09.54. Kuffa was LVC's top swimmer at the conference meet with 470.3 performance points.
Women's Swimming – Noryan Mitchell, junior
The junior had a strong season where she swam personal best times in all three individual events at the MAC Championships. She was 20th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.35 seconds, 21st in the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:30.18, and 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:16.14 after swimming 1:15.44 in the prelims. Mitchell was the Dutchmen's top swimmer at the conference championships with 386.0 performance points.
Men's Tennis – Zach Schrader, sophomore
The All-MAC Freedom First Team selection had an excellent season at number one singles while leading the Dutchmen to the conference championship match. Schrader posted a 7-13 singles record and 12-7 doubles record during dual matches this season as the team's top player.
Women's Tennis – Catherine Stone, junior
The All-MAC Freedom First Team selection had an incredible year, leading the Dutchmen to their second consecutive appearance in the MAC Freedom Finals. Stone recorded a 13-2 singles record and a 12-6 doubles mark in dual matches. She was undefeated at number two singles with an 11-0 record.
Men's Track and Field – Aonghas Evanick (Field), graduate student
The thrower wrapped up his collegiate career very strongly with four podium finishes at the MAC Championships and a podium finish at the Indoor AARTFC Championships. Evanick finished fourth in the weight throw at the indoor conference championships and eighth at the regional meet, where he had a career-best mark of 17.16 meters (56'3.75"). Evanick earned Second Team All-MAC honors in the discus at the outdoor championships with a second-place finish while also finishing fourth in the hammer.
Leo Tirado (Track), sophomore
The sprinter had a great first season at The Valley as he earned All-MAC honors in four events at the indoor championships and had three podium finishes at the outdoor championships. Tirado finished second in the high jump, second in the 200 meters, third in the 60 meters, and was on LVC's winning 4x200 relay team to account for 32 team points. He finished fourth in the 100 meters, eighth in the high jump, and was on the 4x100 relay that finished second at the outdoor championships.
Women's Track and Field – Anna Sawicki (Field), sophomore
The two-time All-American in the multis had a breakout year as she qualified for the pentathlon at the Indoor National Championships and the heptathlon at the Outdoor National Championships. The MAC Champion and record holder in both events earned First Team All-America honors in the pentathlon with a sixth-place finish, scoring a career-best 3578 points. She then earned Second Team All-America honors outdoors in the heptathlon with a score of 4681 points to finish 14th.
Ava Matter (Track), sophomore
The MAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year had an outstanding season where she won five conference titles and earned All-MAC honors in all eight events she competed in during the conference meet. Matter finished third in the 60 meters and won gold in the 200 meters, 4x200 relay, and 4x400 relay at the indoor championships. She won the 100 meters, the 200 meters, and the 4x100 relay at the outdoor championships, along with finishing third in the 4x400 relay.
Volleyball – Mattea Penner, senior
The All-MAC Freedom First Team outside hitter wrapped up her career with a strong season. She led the Dutchmen with 375 points on 322 kills, 21 assists, 39 service aces, 274 digs, and 22 total blocks in 99 sets. Penner led the conference in kills per set and points per set.
