NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released the 2026 Spring All-Sportsmanship Team, with Lebanon Valley having 10 individual honorees among the 153 total student-athletes honored by the conference office. The team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport, including baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track & field, softball, and men's and women's tennis. In addition, the MAC announced Lebanon Valley College as the recipient of the 2025-26 Institutional Sportsmanship Awards for the MAC Freedom Men.
The MAC All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify great character and display exceptional sportsmanship both on and off the field. They represent their team, institution, and the conference with high integrity and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, and opponents. They are humble and hold themselves with pride, competing at the same level of intensity no matter who the competition is or the outcome of the contest. These student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.
LVC's honorees include:
Baseball–Kenny Palmieri, senior, outfielder
Palmieri started 33 games as an outfielder during his senior year for the Dutchmen. The Royersford, Pennsylvania native hit .307 with 35 hits, eight doubles, two home runs, 21 runs scored, and 14 runs batted in.
Men's Golf–Brady Keath, first-year
Keath played 19 rounds during his first year at The Valley. The Richland, Pennsylvania native earned All-MAC Freedom Second Team honors after he tied for sixth at the conference championships. He had an adjusted scoring average of 83.3 with a low round of 76.
Women's Golf–Leela Nemani, sophomore
Nemani played six rounds of golf this spring during her first year on the team. The Venetia, Pennsylvania native finished 38th at the MAC Championships with a two-day score of 232. She had an adjusted scoring average of 123.1 with a low round of 106.
Men's Lacrosse–Jacob LaRue, senior, defender
LaRue started all 18 games as a defender in his final season as a Dutchman. The Jarrettsville, Maryland native caused 14 turnovers and had 26 ground balls to earn Honorable Mention All-MAC Freedom honors.
Women's Lacrosse–Annelise Shack, first-year, midfielder
Shack played in all 18 games and made 17 starts during her rookie year. The Voorhees, New Jersey native recorded 14 points on 11 goals and three assists with one game-winning goal, 25 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers, and 19 draw controls.
Men's Outdoor Track & Field–Aonghas Evanick, graduate student, throws
Evanick competed at eight meets as a thrower during the outdoor season. The Souderton, Pennsylvania native had a career-best mark of 49.79 meters (163'4") in the hammer throw at the AARTFC Championships and finished fourth at the MAC Championships with a throw of 49.49 meters (162'4"). He finished second to earn All-MAC Second Team honors in the discus at the MAC Championships with a throw of 45.77 meters (150'2") and had a career-best toss of 14.58 meters (47'10") in the shot put at the York Twilight Meet.
Women's Outdoor Track & Field–Coyla Bartholomew, senior, distance
Bartholomew competed at five meets as a distance runner during the outdoor season. The Danville, Pennsylvania native won her second consecutive MAC title in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:17.48 at the conference championships. She ran a school record time of 10:55.02 at the Widener Final Qualifier and had a career-best 5000-meter time of 17:30.04 at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Softball–Megan Heard, senior, shortstop
Heard started all 43 games at shortstop this spring during her final year at The Valley. The North Abington Township, Pennsylvania native hit .372 with 48 hits, one double, two triples, 28 runs scored, 22 runs batted in, and 25 stolen bases. She was named the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection.
Men's Tennis–Colin Brusse, junior
Brusse competed in 22 singles matches and three doubles matches as a junior. The Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania native went 13-9 playing fourth, fifth, or sixth singles and was 6-3 in his last 10 matches. Brusse was 2-1 in his three doubles matches that he played.
Women's Tennis–Megan Martin, junior
Martin competed in 16 singles matches and 14 doubles matches as a junior. The Norristown, Pennsylvania native went 9-7 playing mostly at number three singles and was 10-4 in doubles play. She was 6-3 in her last 10 doubles matches.
The MAC Institutional Sportsmanship Award was created to reward the outstanding overall sportsmanship at MAC institutions. The award began during the 2001-02 academic year. The award is voted on by the individual institutions' coaches and is presented to a male and female athletic program in the MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom.
The Dutchmen earned the MAC Freedom Men's award for the third consecutive year as they received 158 points from opposing coaches. It is the sixth time LVC has earned the Institutional Sportsmanship Award for the men, and marks the second time they have earned the award in three consecutive years. They first won the award in the MAC Commonwealth from 2008 to 2010.
