NEWTOWN, Pa. – Lebanon Valley men's track & field standout
Michael De Falcis was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Senior Scholar-Athlete in a release by the conference office on Friday.
De Falcis, a graduate student studying for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, earned Second Team All-America honors in the javelin last spring with an 11th-place finish and is a two-time NCAA Championships qualifier. He is a two-time MAC Champion in the javelin and won the event at the 2023 AARTFC Championships. De Falcis holds the program record with a career-best throw of 64.27 meters (210'10") in the javelin. He is 22nd in the nation this spring with a throw of 60.08 meters (197'1").
Academically, De Falcis has earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors three times and was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District twice. He has earned MAC Academic Honor Roll four times and was voted to the Academic All-MAC team twice. De Falcis has been named to the Dean's List seven times and earned a spot on the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll last year.
De Falcis becomes LVC's fourth Senior Scholar-Athlete this year, tying a school record that was also accomplished in the 2016-17 and 2024-25 academic years. He becomes the second honoree for the men's outdoor track & field program and the first since Andrew Scott in 2011. Overall, LVC has 45 MAC Senior Scholar-Athletes with at least one honoree every year since the 2008-09 academic year.
