Men’s Tennis Sweeps DeSales on Senior Day

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team clinched a home playoff match on Tuesday afternoon with a 7-0 victory over DeSales University on Senior Day at the Shankroff Tennis Center.

The Dutchmen (11-9, 4-0 MAC Freedom) clinched a top-two seed in next week's Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championship and a semifinal home match. The Bulldogs (3-10, 1-3 MAC Freedom) only traveled with five players, so only two doubles matches and five singles matches were played. LVC won both doubles matches, with them finishing at almost the exact same time. The Dutchmen then swept through all five singles matches in straight sets, dropping just six total games in the process.

  • Jesse Beck and Adam Warren earned a 6-0 victory at number one doubles to give Warren his 57th career doubles win.
