HERSHEY, Pa. – Addi Alaoui scored four goals for the Lebanon Valley College women's ice hockey team, including the game-winner during the program's 5-4 overtime victory over Stevenson University in its final regular season game on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Hersheypark Arena.
The Mustangs (4-20-1, 14-16-1 MAC) opened the scoring 30 seconds into the first period, taking an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Emma DeMan. The Dutchmen (19-6-0, 16-5-0 MAC) then started a power play in the second minute, which led to
Abby Mak and
Tiffany Anderson each putting a shot on target that was saved. Lebanon Valley started another power play in the sixth minute, and the team capitalized at the 5:56 mark to tie the contest at 1-1. The squad evened the score with a power-play goal by

The programs proceeded to go back and forth over the next 8:38, as each team put six shots on target that were saved. During this stretch, Stevenson began a power play in the 11th minute of the first period, and LVC answered with two blocks by Mak and a save by goaltender
Mia Frisoni. The goaltender also came through with stops for the Flying Dutchmen at the 13:46, 14:34, and 15:08 marks. Lebanon Valley later took the last shot on goal of the first frame, as Dale's attempt was saved at the 15:57 mark.
The Mustangs concluded a power play during the first 1:59 of the second period, and Frisoni came through with a pair of saves for the Dutchmen during another successful penalty kill. Lebanon Valley's offense also started a power play in the fourth minute of the frame, which prompted Anderson and
Addison Taylert to each put a shot on target that was saved. Stevenson later scored again 6:36 into the second, taking a 2-1 advantage on a goal by DeMan. The Mustangs followed this with a shot at the 9:35 mark, but Frisoni made a save for LVC.
The Flying Dutchmen continued to send the puck toward the net as the second period progressed, as Anderson took a shot that was saved, and Alaoui had two attempts saved, within 20 seconds in the 12th minute. Lebanon Valley found the net again 11:41 into the frame, tying the game at 2-2 when Alaoui sent the puck past the goaltender.
Leela Nemani and
Lauren Pennino were credited with assists on the team's second goal. Stevenson responded with a goal by DeMan at the 12:10 mark, taking a 3-2 lead. LVC remained aggressive offensively during the remainder of the frame, as the squad outshot the opposition 10-3 during this span.
The Mustangs added a tally 3:36 into the third period, going up 4-2 on a goal by Kiana Baker. The programs traded shots over the next 4:04, as Lebanon Valley outshot Stevenson 4-3 during this stretch. The Dutchmen then scored at the 9:15 mark, narrowing their deficit to 4-3. The squad made it a one-goal game when Alaoui sent the puck into the back of the net, following assists by
Camryn Crouch and Nemani. On the defensive end, Frisoni delivered more key stops for LVC at the 9:28, 10:24, and 12:04 marks.
Lebanon Valley's offense kept battling as the third period went on, and the program evened the score at 4-4 at the 14:22 mark. The team began a power play in the 14th minute, and it took advantage of this opportunity with a power-play goal by Alaoui, after an assist by Taylert. Stevenson then started a power play in the 15th minute, and LVC held the opposition to attempts that resulted in two blocks by
Norah McCauliffe and a block each by Crouch,
Amy McKeigue, and
McKayla Romano during a successful penalty kill. The Flying Dutchmen also worked to create scoring chances as the end of regulation approached, putting four shots on target during the final 31 seconds. Dale took a shot in this stretch that was saved with seven seconds left, during a power play. Ultimately, the contest remained tied at the end of the third, sending the game into overtime.
Stevenson took the first shot of the five-minute overtime, and Frisoni posted a save for LVC 46 seconds into the frame. The Dutchmen countered with shots on goal by Romano, Pennino, and Dale, which were saved within 48 seconds in the third minute. Lebanon Valley then scored 3:13 into overtime, winning the game 5-4. The program secured the victory when Alaoui netted a clutch, unassisted goal.

- Alaoui tied a single-game program record and set a season-high with four goals, bringing her total to 13 for the season. The first-year's fourth goal was her fourth game-winner of the year, which marked her third in the last four games. Alaoui also tied a season-high and set a game-high with four points, while taking a game-high and season-high 16 shots on goal. Defensively, the first-year blocked one shot.
- Dale netted her team-leading 18th goal of the winter, while tying a career-high four blocks.
- Nemani tied a game-high two assists, bringing her total to 12 for the season. The sophomore assisted Alaoui's first two goals, while winning eight faceoffs and blocking a shot.
- Anderson registered her team-leading 17th assist of the campaign on Dale's goal, breaking her own single-season program record that was set last year. The senior also had a game-high 20 faceoff victories.
- Pennino was credited with her sixth assist of the campaign on Alaoui's first goal, while blocking one shot.
- Crouch logged her eighth assist of the year on Alaoui's second goal, while tying a season-high three blocks.
- Mak tallied her 14th assist of the season on Dale's goal and had two blocks.
- Taylert dished out her ninth assist of the campaign on Alaoui's third goal.
- Frisoni recorded 30 saves during the win.
- The Dutchmen tied a program record with two power-play goals.
- Lebanon Valley outshot Stevenson 48-34.
- Defensively, the Flying Dutchmen had a 21-10 advantage in blocked shots.
- McCauliffe tallied a game-high five blocks.
