NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College women's ice hockey and men's indoor track and field teams were recognized by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Tuesday, Feb. 10, as the conference office announced in a release that a student-athlete from each program earned a weekly award.

Anna Dale was honored with MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week accolades after helping Lebanon Valley College's women's ice hockey team win two games and clinch a postseason spot. Senior
Sam Rothstein was also presented with the MAC Track Athlete of the Week award, following his strong performance for LVC's men's indoor track and field team at the Scarlet Knight Open.
Dale recorded six points with three goals and three assists while finishing +6 on the ice, as LVC clinched a MAC Championship berth with two wins. She began the weekend with a goal and an assist for the Dutchmen in the 3-1 victory over Hood College on Friday, Feb. 6. Dale also tallied four points with two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists in Lebanon Valley's 5-0 win at King's College on Saturday, Feb. 7. The victory over the Monarchs secured a postseason spot for the Flying Dutchmen. This marks the second time Dale has been selected as the MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week this season, as she also received the honor on Nov. 11, 2025. The forward has earned this award seven times in her career. Additionally, Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team has collected eight weekly honors from the MAC so far this season.
Rothstein recorded career-best times in both the mile and 800 meters for the Dutchmen at the Scarlet Knight Open on Friday. His mile time of 4:18.04 leads the MAC this season, while his time of 1:56.91 in the 800 ranks among the conference's top times and places him in multiple regional rankings. Rothstein has been chosen as the MAC Track Athlete of the Week twice so far this year, as he also garnered recognition from the conference on Tuesday, Jan. 13. The senior has received three weekly honors during his career with Lebanon Valley's men's indoor track and field team. This is also the second straight week that a member of the Flying Dutchmen has been listed as the MAC Track Athlete of the Week, as junior
Rory Lieberman earned the award on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Additionally, LVC has now won five weekly honors this winter.
