OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Lebanon Valley College women's cross country team had four finishers in the top 35 to finish third as a team on Saturday at the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Stevenson University at the Greenspring Campus Course in Owings Mills, Maryland.
"This was an exceptional effort from our ladies in what became a tightly contested race for third through sixth," stated Head Coach James O'Brien. " I am so proud of how this group attacked the course; they were relentless early on and held it together through the second half. Charlee was a solid low card for us, and it was amazing to plug in some talented freshmen who have adapted to our program well so far, but I am most proud of the improvement of my upperclassmen Christine, Nina, and Caroline, who improved 62, 42, and 30 spots from last year's championships, respectively. Their patience and hard work truly allowed us to shine today."
Misericordia University won the team title with 54 points behind Individual Champion Madison Hedglin, who finished the 6,000-meter course in 21:33.4. She won by 16 seconds over Widener University's Loralei Golembiewski, who crossed the line in 21:49.8. Messiah University was second with 60 points, followed by the Dutchmen in third with 126 points. Stevens Institute of Technology was fourth with 136 points, and DeSales University rounded out the top five teams with 147 points.

Caroline Borleis was 24th in a career-best 23:57.9.
Jocelyn Saultz crossed the line in 24:09.1 to finish 27th.
Christine Wagner just missed All-Conference honors in 31st place with a career-best time of 24:20.4.
