ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College football junior Jayden Stanfield was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week as a running back for his performance in the victory over Widener, in a release by the media outlet.

The Team of the Week is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 28th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools.

Stanfield tied an LVC record with five touchdowns on Saturday in a 45-2 victory over Widener. The junior rushed for a career-high 206 yards and tied the school record with four rushing touchdowns while adding three receptions for 26 yards and a receiving touchdown to lead the Dutchmen to their first win of the season. Stanfield scored LVC's first 35 points as he recorded touchdown runs of one yard and two yards in the first quarter, a six-yard touchdown run and a 17-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, and then finished things off with a big 44-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. The junior averaged 9.0 yards per carry and had a long of 49 in the game.
