ANNVILLE, Pa. – Jordan Lasky recorded the Lebanon Valley College women's soccer team's first hat trick since 2017, leading the program to a dominant 6-0 victory over Neumann University on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Herbert Field.
Lebanon Valley received contributions from several players on a rainy afternoon, as eight student-athletes tallied points during the win. The program also delivered a strong defensive effort, as four saves by goalkeeper
Camryn Porter helped the squad post its seventh shutout of the year.
The Dutchmen (7-1-0) generated the first offensive opportunities of the game, as
Kalei Noonan sent a shot above the net at the 3:08 mark and
Emilee Walborn sent the ball to the right of the net at the 10:11 mark. LVC followed this with a shot on goal by

Megan Ressler had a try saved a minute later. Lebanon Valley then opened the scoring 13:49 into the contest, taking a 1-0 lead over the Knights (2-6-1). A pass from the right side was deflected by a defender in the penalty box, leading to Lasky sending a shot into the lower-right corner of the net for an unassisted goal.
The Flying Dutchmen also continued to send shots toward the net as the first half progressed, as Ressler put an attempt on goal that was saved at the 16:53 mark. Neumann countered with a shot on target 20:48 into the game, which resulted in a save by Porter. Lebanon Valley followed this with a shot by Ressler that was saved at the 23:03 mark, while

The squad put two of these shots on target, as Sepkovic had a try saved at the 38:36 mark, and Noonan took a shot that was saved with 58 seconds to go. Lebanon Valley was also productive defensively during this stretch, keeping the opposition from taking another shot after the 21
st minute. The Flying Dutchmen went on to take their two-goal lead into halftime.
Lebanon Valley quickly resumed the scoring when the second half got underway, as the program extended its advantage to 3-0 just 3:16 into the stanza. Miller took a shot from the middle of the penalty box, which was deflected by the goalkeeper before ending up in the lower-center portion of the net. The Dutchmen quickly added another tally at the 51:42 mark, going up 4-0. Lasky scored her third goal of the game on a shot from the top of the goal box, which got past the diving attempt of the goalie and went into the lower-right corner of the net after an assist by
Jayme Beninda.
The programs proceeded to go back and forth on the defensive end for nearly five minutes, as neither team put a shot on target during this stretch. The Flying Dutchmen tacked on another point 56:38 into the contest, advancing the score to 5-0.
Mikhaela Sartor took a shot from near the middle of the penalty box, which got past the diving try of the goalkeeper and went into the lower-left corner of the net.
Kaylee Haas assisted the goal by Sartor. Lebanon Valley found the net once again at the 60:24 mark, going ahead 6-0. Following a cross from
Olivia Baldwin on the right side of the field to the left side of the goal box,
Mikayla Mitchell sent a header shot into the lower-center portion of the net for a goal. Haas was also credited with the secondary assist on LVC's sixth goal.
