HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. – Lebanon Valley junior Jillian Fidler took home medalist honors on Saturday afternoon for the women's golf team with a program record one-over 71 at the Susquehanna Fall Invitational.
 
Fidler topped the field of 74 on the course at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club. The junior carded a round four strokes better than her previous career-low of 75 that she had at the MAC Championships last spring, and won medalist honors for the second time in her career. She broke the previous program record of 73 that Emma Dissinger carded last fall at the Battle at Berkleigh.
 
The junior had a strong round with 13 pars, two birdies, and just three bogeys. She birdied the par-three ninth hole and the par-three 15th hole. Fidler was an even par 34 on the front nine and a one-over 37 on the back nine. Her 71 was three strokes better than second-place finisher Ali Boyle of Seton Hill, who carded a 74.
 
Alexa Pridham had a 106 to finish tied for 60th. She carded a 53 on the front nine holes and a 53 on the back nine while recording the same score she did on Tuesday at the Hershey Country Club. The Dutchmen also had Anna Tokle competing who carded a 129 to finish tied for 70th. Tokle had a 61 on the front nine, including a par on the par-five sixth hole. She then had a 68 on the back nine in her second collegiate event.
 
York College of Pennsylvania won the team title with a score of 321. Host Susquehanna University was second with a 323. Seton Hill finished third at 333.
 
The Dutchmen will return to the links in 10 days, on Tuesday, Sept. 23, as they compete in The Northampton Cup hosted by Albright College at the Northampton Country Club in Easton. The shotgun start is scheduled for 10 a.m.
