EASTON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley senior
Jillian Fidler began the year with an 83 on the par-72 course at Northampton Country Club to finish sixth out of 33 golfers on Tuesday. The Dutchmen finished fourth as a team with a score of 395 strokes.
Division II Kutztown University won the team title with a score of 327. Moravian University was second at 373. Moravian's Heidi Wegscheider and Kutztown's Brooke Graham had the low scores of the day at 78, with Wegscheider earning medalist honors by winning the second playoff hole. Alvernia University was third with a score of 384, followed by the Dutchmen in fourth. Host Albright College was fifth at 430, followed by Arcadia University with a score of 446 and Stockton University at 494.
Inside the Results
- Fidler carded an 83 with a 42 on the front nine and a 41 on the back nine holes. She posted 10 pars on the round, including four straight on holes three through six and then four more consecutive pars on holes 11 through 14.
- Alexa Pridham finished tied for 14th with a 101. The graduate student posted a 48 on the front nine and a 53 on the back. She had two pars on the round, with one on the seventh hole and another on the 16th hole.
- Leela Nemani posted a 103 to finish 16th. The junior had a 50 on the front nine and a 53 on the back nine. She recorded three pars for the day with a par on the fourth, ninth, and 16th holes.
- Ella Monier recorded a 108 in her collegiate debut to finish tied for 20th. She had a 55 on the front nine and a 53 on the back nine holes. Monier recorded her first career par on the 14th hole.
- Anna Tokle finished 26th with a 117. The senior carded a 59 on the front nine and a 58 on the back nine.
