Three Dutchmen Named to 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Baseball Team

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Baseball team had three student-athletes named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization on Tuesday.
 
The Academic All-District® Baseball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have played in 90 percent of games or started in 66 percent of games this spring. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 1, 2025.
 
The three Dutchmen honorees are Jace Fetterman, Owen Berry, and Michael Williams. Fetterman was selected as one of the finalists for Academic All-America®.
 
Fetterman is a senior Business Administration major from Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The catcher played in all 43 games, made 42 starts, and was named the MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete and the MAC Freedom Player of the Year while also earning All-Region and All-MAC Freedom honors. He had 62 hits including 18 doubles, one triple, and one home run with 42 runs batted in and 42 runs scored this spring. In the field, Fetterman made 213 putouts and 26 assists. This is his third consecutive season earning Academic All-District honors.
 
Berry is junior Business Administration and Marketing major from Cogan Station, Pennsylvania. The shortstop started all 43 games and was named First Team All-MAC Freedom. He had 43 hits including 11 doubles with 24 runs batted in and 52 runs scored. Berry also pitched 6.1 innings earning three saves for the Dutchmen with seven strikeouts. In the field, Berry made 65 putouts and 109 assists. This is his second consecutive season earning Academic All-District honors.
 
Williams is a graduate student studying for his Masters in Intelligence and Security Studies from Port St. Lucie, Florida. The pitcher had a program record 21 appearances this spring and pitched 25.0 innings. He struck out 30 hitters and finished with a 4-1 record and a 4.32 earned run average. In the field, Williams made four assists.
