STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Golf team played its last competitive round of golf prior to the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships next weekend against mainly Division II opponents on Saturday at the East Stroudsburg Invitational on the golf course of Glenn Brook Golf Club in Stroudsburg.
The Dutchmen scored 398 as a team to place seventh in the field. There were five Division II teams in the field and Susquehanna University was the only other Division III team at the event. Millersville won the team title with a 318 behind Charley Kirby taking home medalist honors with a four-over par 76.
Jillian Fidler was the third Division III finisher in the field of 40 and tied for 11th overall with an 84.
Emma Dissinger carded a 91 to finish tied for 222nd.
Lillian Gleeson finished with a 109.
Alexa Pridham was LVC's fourth scorer with a 114 while
Olivia Bartal carded a 119. As a team the Dutchmen were five strokes better than their round at Glen Brook last spring. Pridham had the biggest improvement after carding a 137 last year.
LVC will head to Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood next weekend for the MAC Championships. Round one will be on Saturday April 26 with the final round occurring on Sunday.
