HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Tennis team battled tough against Roanoke College on Wednesday afternoon in a 7-0 defeat at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort.
The Maroons (3-3) won all three doubles matches to begin the match. They also won all six singles matches which were played in pro sets due to the match being delayed a couple of hours due to rain.
Inside the Results
- Ethan Luu and Zach Schrader dropped a close 6-4 decision at number one doubles.
- Jake Erb and Colin Brusse dropped a 6-3 decision at number two doubles.
- Brusse had the closest singles match dropping a tough 8-7 (7-3) decision at number three.
- Luu dropped an 8-5 decision at number four singles while Antonio Scaramuzzino fell 8-5 at number six.
- Schrader and Erb dropped 8-4 decisions at number one and two singles.
Up Next
The Dutchmen will close out the trip to Hilton Head on Thursday morning with a 9:30 a.m. match against John Carroll University at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center.
