11/3/2025 3:39:00 PM

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team will contend for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom title this week as the third seed in the conference tournament. LVC will take on second-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology on Tuesday in the Semifinals.

The Dutchmen are making the program's first postseason appearance since 2022 and the first as members of the MAC Freedom. The squad is having one of the best years in program history with a 13-3-2 overall record, including 12 shutout victories. LVC earned the third seed by going 4-2-1 in conference play and outscoring the opposition 18-9. They will take on the second-seeded Ducks in the semifinals at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening in Hoboken, New Jersey. Stevens won the regular season matchup 1-0 last Saturday, Oct. 25, on a 17th-minute goal. Top-seeded Misericordia University hosts fourth-seeded Arcadia University in Dallas at 7 p.m. in the other semifinal pairing. The winners will meet on Saturday at the site of the highest remaining team.

There is an admission cost for all conference tournament games. Prices are set by the conference office and are $10 for adults, and $5 for seniors (65+) and youth (7-17). MAC students with an ID and children six and under with an adult are free.

LVC enters the conference tournament two wins away from tying the school record for wins in a season. The Dutchmen are outscoring teams 46-14 while limiting teams to 7.8 shots per game. The Dutchmen are second in the conference with a 1.78 scoring margin and 117 corner kicks. The offense has received points from 16 different student-athletes, including 13 different goal scorers.

Abrielle Miller leads the attack with 30 points on 11 goals and eight assists. She has recorded at least one point in 16 of the team's 18 games. Jordan Lasky has been a scoring machine for the Dutchmen this season as she leads the squad with 13 goals. The senior also has three assists for 29 points. Jayme Beninda has put herself in the conversation for Rookie of the Year with 16 points on four goals and eight assists. Alison Sepkovic has been a force in the midfield, recording 14 points on five goals and four assists.

Megan Ressler has nine points on the season with two goals and five assists. Kalei Noonan adds five points on one goal and five assists. Mikayla Mitchell and Mikhaela Sartor have scored two goals each, while Olivia Baldwin and Naomi Bowman have one goal and two assists apiece. McKenna Valentine has a goal and an assist for three points, while Gabby Hansson and Lauren O'Malley have scored a goal each. Kaylee Haas recorded two assists, while Kennedy Dings and Sophia Floyd each had an assist.

Emilee Walborn and Chloe Moser anchor the defense and have been a big reason why the Dutchmen have posted a school record number of clean sheets. Meredith Mantione has been a strong force off the bench to solidify the midfield, while Abigail Wishart, Emily Miller, and Gabby Cinicola have seen significant minutes off the bench. Summer Packard, Sarah Gowell, Keira O'Grady, Alicia Sonder, Keira Sweppenhiser, Mari Alvarez, and Elise Price have all seen action to year to aid in LVC making the postseason.

Camryn Porter is having another strong year in goal with a school-record 10 shutouts. The sophomore has a 0.77 goals against average and 0.813 save percentage in 17 games this season. Misericordia has won 10 of the last 12 conference titles, including the past four. Stevens is the last team to beat the Cougars in the conference title game, winning it all in 2019. The past five conference title games have been between Misericordia and Stevens. Arcadia is playing Misericordia in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. The Cougars have won the past six meetings with the Knights and have allowed just one goal in the span. The Dutchmen started conference play with a 2-2 tie at Arcadia on Oct. 4 and finished off the regular season with a 5-0 defeat at 16th-ranked Misericordia on Saturday, Nov. 1.
