ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley junior Jacob Karkoska gained national recognition this week as the linebacker was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week after leading the Dutchmen to a 34-14 victory at Widener.
 
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools. This is the third week this season the Dutchmen have placed at least one player on the Team of the Week.
 
The junior had a career-high eight tackles with all eight being solo stops. The linebacker had a 10-yard sack and led a strong defensive effort that allowed just 166 yards of total offense. The Dutchmen limited the Pride to 57 rushing yards and eight first downs. This is the first weekly award for Karkoska in his career.
 
Lebanon Valley has 46 all-time selections to the D3football.com Team of the Week including 19 since 2021.
