ANNVILLE, Pa. – Alison Sepkovic and Jordan Lasky each scored two goals for the Lebanon Valley College women's soccer team, leading the program to a dominant 6-0 victory over Delaware Valley University while celebrating Homecoming and Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Herbert Field.

The program honored its three seniors before the game, recognizing Sepkovic, Lasky, and Emily Miller.

The Dutchmen (9-1-2, 1-0-1 MAC Freedom) were aggressive offensively from the start, taking six shots during the first 9:29. During this stretch, Lasky put a shot on goal that was saved at the 3:46 mark, and Sepkovic had an attempt on target saved 9:29 into the first half. Lasky also took a shot that was saved at the 11:45 mark, and Abrielle Miller had a try saved at the 20:03 mark. Lebanon Valley then opened the scoring 22:31 into the contest, taking a 1-0 lead over the Aggies (3-8-1, 0-2-0 MAC Freedom). Shortly after the ball was delivered to the penalty box from a corner kick, Sepkovic sent a shot into the lower-right corner of the net for a goal.

The Flying Dutchmen kept working to generate offensive opportunities as the first half progressed, as Sepkovic took a shot on target that was saved at the 23:27 mark and Abrielle Miller logged an attempt that was saved at the 26:54 mark. Lebanon Valley found the net again 26:55 into the opening stanza, taking a 2-0 advantage. The team went ahead by two when Lasky took a shot from just behind the right side of the goal box, which ended up in the center of the net for a goal.

The Dutchmen put another point on the board at the 36:31 mark, extending their lead to 3-0. Abrielle Miller made it a three-goal game by kicking the ball from the right side of the penalty box and into the lower-center portion of the net. Lebanon Valley was also stellar defensively during the first half, keeping Delaware Valley from taking a shot during the stanza. This dominance contributed to LVC taking a 3-0 advantage into halftime.

The Flying Dutchmen resumed the scoring just 4:09 into the second half, extending their lead to 4-0 over the Aggies. Sepkovic scored her second goal of the day by taking a shot from the right side of the goal box, which deflected off Delaware Valley's goalkeeper before ending up in the center of the net. Megan Ressler dished out the assist on the program's fourth goal. Lebanon Valley added another tally just 46 seconds later, going up 5-0. Lasky recorded her second goal of the game by kicking the ball from the back of the penalty box into the lower-right side of the net. Ressler was also credited with the assist on Lasky's second goal.

The Dutchmen continued to send shots toward the net as the second stanza rolled on, tallying 13 attempts over the next 34:22. Abrielle Miller put a shot on goal that was saved at the 54:53 mark before Olivia Baldwin sent the ball above the net 10 seconds later. Abigail Wishart also contributed to these efforts for LVC, recording a try that went above the upper-right corner of the net 59:14 into the contest. Jayme Beninda then had a shot go above the net at the 61:04 mark, while Naoni Bowman put a shot on target that was saved at the 62:36 mark. Mikayla Mitchell created a pair of scoring chances for Lebanon Valley as well, taking a shot on goal that was saved at the 69:19 mark before a shot that went to the left of the goal at the 75:53 mark. Later in the second, McKenna Valentine had a try saved at the 80:10 mark, and Bowman's shot went to the left of the net 40 seconds later. This was followed by Emilee Walborn sending attempts to the left of the goal at the 81:57 and 84:17 marks.

The Flying Dutchmen also remained excellent on the defensive end during the second half, keeping the opposition from taking a shot until there were less than two minutes to go. Delaware Valley recorded its only shot of the day 88:13 into the contest, and goalkeeper Camryn Porter came through with the save for Lebanon Valley. The Dutchmen then tacked on an insurance point with just 36 seconds remaining, prompting 6-0 to be the final score.
