ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team battled tough against a very good Allegheny College squad on Saturday morning as the visiting Gators defeated the Dutchmen 7-0 on Homecoming at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
Allegheny (5-0) won two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point of the match. The Gators won all six singles matches in straight sets, with the Dutchmen (2-4) sending two sets to a tiebreaker.
Inside the Results
- Jesse Beck and Zach Schrader earned a 7-6 (8-6) victory at number one doubles. They are now 4-0 this season in dual matches.
- Beck had a pair of very close sets at number two singles as the junior fell 6-4, 6-4.
- Mason Dissinger dropped his first set 6-3 at number five singles. His match went to a second-set tiebreaker, with his opponent winning 7-3 to take the second set 7-6.
- Colin Bruse dropped a first-set tiebreaker 7-1 at number six singles and fell by scores of 7-6 and 6-0.

The Dutchmen will wrap up the fall season on Wednesday when they host Penn State Harrisburg. First serves at the Shankroff Tennis Center are scheduled for 4 p.m. against the Lions.
