ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Swimming teams were in action for the first time since November on Saturday afternoon as the Dutchmen took on Widener University at the Arnold Sports Center.
 
Inside the Results

• Both teams finished third in the 200-meter medley relay to begin the meet. The women squad of Maddie Hoerner, Rachel King, Charlotte Richmond, and Alex Janner swam a time of 2:34.65. The men's squad of Joe Beidler, Zach Fisher, Justin Kopp, and Josh Carner finished in 2:09.94.
• Owen Fastrich was second in the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 9:51.75. He then finished second in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:44.15.
• King earned a second place finish in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:37.31. She was also third in the 100-meter breaststroke touching the wall in 1:27.40.
• Jordyn Grossman won the 50-meter freestyle while Sierra Young was second. Grossman touched the wall in 28.59 seconds while Young was a second behind her in 29.79 seconds. Roman Schelhorn was third in the men's race with a time of 27.71 seconds.
• Marina Weidman finished second in the 100-meter freestyle at 1:18.36.
• Grossman won her second event of the afternoon in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:06.37. Young was second in the 100-meter backstroke touching the wall in 1:19.28.
• Jacob Marsh was third in the 400-meter freestyle at 6:49.27.
• The women won the 200-meter freestyle relay to conclude the meet. Jana Shoffner, Young, Weidman, and Grossman finished in 2:01.00 to edge Widener's team by under a second.

The Dutchmen will be back in action next Saturday for Senior Day at the Arnold Sports Center with the teams facing Hood College. The 11 seniors will be honored prior to the 1 p.m. meet against the Blazers.
