ANNVILLE, Pa. – Alison Sepkovic netted a clutch goal for the Lebanon Valley College Women's Soccer team in the second half, helping lead the program to a 1-0 win over Stevenson University on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Herbert Field. The victory extends the team's winning streak to three consecutive games.
The Dutchmen (3-3-0) battled defensively against the Mustangs (2-4-1) early in the match, as neither squad registered a shot attempt for over nine minutes at the start. Stevenson then took two shots within a period of 55 seconds that began in the 10
th minute, but goalkeeper 
Camryn Porter was there to make saves for Lebanon Valley on both attempts. LVC then generated an offensive opportunity at the 14:00 mark, as 
Darrian Berkheimer took a shot on goal that was saved.
The Flying Dutchmen continued to send shots toward the net as the first half progressed, as Berkheimer tallied an attempt that was saved 23:07 into the stanza before 
Jordan Lasky took a shot that was saved at the 26:33 mark. Porter continued her productive afternoon as the opening half rolled on, making four more saves in the remaining minutes of the frame. The goalkeeper posted two key stops within a 54-second stretch that started in the 36
th minute. The programs kept going back and forth through the end of the first, prompting the contest to enter halftime in a 0-0 tie.
The Mustangs created scoring chances early in the second half, taking a shot that went to the left of the net 57 seconds into the stanza before a shot that was saved near the top of the net by Porter at the 47:08 mark. Lebanon Valley also worked to generate opportunities, as 
Emily Miller recorded a shot that was saved at the 50:15 mark. The teams kept delivering strong defensive efforts as the stanza went on, keeping the game scoreless for over 11 more minutes. 
The Dutchmen then got on the board 61:49 into the match, taking a 1-0 lead over the Mustangs. Sepkovic broke the 0-0 tie by sending a shot into the left side of the net, following an assist by Berkheimer. Lebanon Valley was stellar on the defensive end through the remainder of the contest, preventing the opposition from taking a shot on goal during the final 28:11. Stevenson took a shot near the end of the game, but the attempt went to the left of the net at the 88:12 mark. LVC went on to preserve its advantage through the end of the match to record the 1-0 win.
