ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team defeated University of Scranton 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Shankroff Tennis Center behind two wins each by
Colin Brusse and
Jake Erb.
LVC (1-2) won two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point of the match over the Royals (0-2). The Dutchmen took courts one and three while Scranton won court two. The Dutchmen then won four of the six singles matches to secure the victory.
Inside the Box
- Bruse and Erb were the first doubles court done with a 6-0 victory at number three.
- Erb was the third singles court to finish as he picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number three that gave the Dutchmen a 3-1 lead.
- Brusse gave LVC their fifth point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at number five singles.
- Adam Warren and Zach Schrader improved to 3-0 on the year at number one doubles with a 6-3 win that clinched the doubles point.
- Ethan Luu was the first singles court to finish with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number six.
- Michael Schuetz clinched the match victory at number four with a 6-2, 6-3 win.
- LVC has now won 10 consecutive matchups against the Royals including a 6-0 record in Annville.

The Dutchmen will close out the fall dual season on Wednesday with a match against Penn State Harrisburg. First serves are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Shankroff Tennis Center against the Lions.
