HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team began their spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina with a 9-0 defeat to Eastern Nazarene College on Sunday afternoon at the Shipyard Racquet Club.
The Dutchmen (4-3) dropped the opening match of the week in Hilton against the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Champions. The Lions (1-5) won all three doubles matches and swept the singles matches in straight sets.
Inside the Box
- Jesse Beck and Adam Warren dropped an incredibly close 8-6 decision at number one doubles.
- Ethan Luu and Jared Hostetter were defeated 8-4 at number three doubles.
- Jake Erb and Michael Schuetz fell 8-3 at number three doubles.
- Warren had the closest singles match dropping a 6-4, 6-3 decision at number two.
- Erb dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision at number three singles.
Up Next
LVC will be off tomorrow in Hilton Head before having two matches on Tuesday. The Dutchmen will start the day against Clark University at 9 a.m. back at the Shipyard Racquet Club and then will face Baldwin Wallace University at 6 p.m. at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center.
