ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's basketball team had three student-athletes named Academic All-District® this week by College Sports Communicators (CSC) in a release by the professional organization.
The Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April. 17, 2024.
The three Dutchmen honorees are
Karson Pavlik,
Wil Laskowski, and
Kyle Tang.
Pavlik is a sophomore exercise science major from Westminster, Maryland. The guard/forward started 11 games and played in all 25 this season while scoring 80 points with 49 rebounds, nine assists, seven steals, and one block.
Laskowski is a sophomore exploratory major from Elizabethville, Pennsylvania. The guard started in four of the 25 games he played in during his first year at The Valley. He scored 69 points with 40 rebounds, 18 assists, and 13 steals.
Tang is a sophomore biology major from Vienna, Virginia. The guard started 22 of the 24 games he played in and scored 189 points with 92 rebounds, 74 assists, 54 steals, and four blocks.
