ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team continued their dominance on the courts of the Shankroff Tennis Center on Saturday as the Dutchmen defeated York College of Pennsylvania 7-2 to win the 19th consecutive home match.
The Dutchmen (5-6) broke their five-match losing skid to begin the spring season with a big win against the Spartan (1-6) in a rematch of last spring's MAC Commonwealth semifinal match. LVC won two of the three doubles matches and then took five of the six singles matches to record their sixth consecutive win over the York.
Inside the Box
- Adam Warren and Jesse Beck started things off with a dominating 8-0 victory at number one doubles.
- Michael Schuetz and Ethan Luu also had a dominating 8-0 victory at number two doubles.
- Luu was a double winner as he cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at number five singles.
- Jared Hostetter won his first collegiate singles match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number six singles.
- Beck was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at number one singles for his second win of the day.
- Schuetz was the third double winner with a 6-3, 6-4 victory at number three singles to improve to 8-2 on the season.
- Colin Brusse won an exciting three-set match by a score of 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 for his second three-set victory of the year.

The Dutchmen will face another former conference rival next Saturday with a short trip to Grantham where they will face Messiah University. First serves are scheduled for 1 p.m.
