NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced the 2023-24 All-MAC Freedom Men's Basketball Team on Wednesday, and two members of the Lebanon Valley College men's basketball team were honored. Junior guard Ryan Harder was named to the Second Team and junior forward Evin Timochenko was selected as an Honorable Mention.
Harder received All-Conference recognition for the first time in his career, after delivering a big season for the Dutchmen. The guard led the program with 361 points, 131 made field goals, 77 converted free throws, and 13 blocks. Harder also ranked second on the team with 22 three-pointers and 141 total rebounds, while tallying the third-most steals with 30 and the fourth-most assists with 28. In the MAC Freedom, he ranked eighth with 14.4 points per game, eighth with a free throw percentage of .794, and 10th with 5.6 rebounds per game. The junior recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 total rebounds during Lebanon Valley's 73-58 victory over Gwynedd Mercy University on Dec. 16, 2023. Additionally, Harder scored a season-high 22 points twice, posting big performances in the 72-66 win against Neumann University on Dec. 9, 2023, and in the 73-59 victory at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham on Feb. 7.
Timochenko was also selected to an All-Conference team for the first time in his career, following a strong junior campaign for Lebanon Valley. The forward led the Flying Dutchmen with 157 total rebounds while ranking second with 243 points, second with 92 field goals, and third with 37 assists. Timochenko also ranked fourth in the MAC Freedom with an average of 8.7 total rebounds per game and 10th with an average of 13.5 points per game. The junior posted eight double-doubles for LVC during the season, including three in victories. In addition to these efforts, Timochenko recorded season-highs with 26 points and 14 total rebounds while tallying three assists and a steal in Lebanon Valley's 77-61 win over King's College on Jan. 24.
