ANNVILLE, Pa. – Michael Schuetz and
Ethan Luu were double winners for the Lebanon Valley Men's Tennis team on Thursday as the Dutchmen ended the fall dual season with a tough 4-3 defeat to Penn State Harrisburg at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
The Lions (3-1) won two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point of the match. Harrisburg won the first three singles matches while the Dutchmen (1-3) won the back three singles matches.
Inside the Box
- Schuetz and Luu evened their doubles record at 3-3 on the year with a 6-2 victory at number two. The duo got out to a 4-0 lead in the match against the Lions.
- Schuetz then cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 singles victory at number four for his second consecutive singles win. Schuetz went up 4-0 in both sets.
- Luu improved to 2-0 in singles with a 6-3, 6-3 win at number six. Luu won the second set after being down 2-0 early in the set.
- Colin Brusse had a big 6-2, 6-1 victory at number five singles to even his record up at 2-2 on the season. Brusse won the first two points of each set.

The fall dual season is complete for the Dutchmen. LVC will compete one last time this fall as they host the Co-Ed Dutchmen Invitational on Sunday at the Unlimited Tennis Academy in Media. Play will start at 8:30 a.m. in the team competition against Catholic University and Wilkes University.
