LEBANON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Cross Country team had a strong finish to the regular season with a first place finish at the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational on Friday afternoon at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon.

The Dutchmen topped the field of five scoring teams with a score of 31. Eastern University was second with 42 points while Delaware Valley University was third with 52 points. Gwynedd Mercy University was fourth with a score of 110 and Penn State Berks was fifth at 115 points. Division I Mount St. Mary's junior Elizabeth Freymann won the individual title in a time of 23:33.7 over the 6,000-meter course. She won by one second in a close race over Jone Zabeleta who finished in 23:34.3.

"This was an awesome opportunity to let some of our younger talent shine, where four of our top five ran lifetime PRs on the day, Head Coach James O'Brien had to say about the performance. "Christine was especially impressive navigating the course after a small setback a few weeks ago, and looks poised to make an impact for us during championships season."
