YORK, Pa. – Abby Sedun scored her first career goal for the Lebanon Valley College Women's Soccer team, as the program dropped a hard-fought 3-2 contest against York College of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Graham Field.

Porter faced another shot on goal by York 20:51 into the game, which resulted in a stop by the first-year goalkeeper. The Flying Dutchmen kept working to generate offensive opportunities as the opening half progressed, as
Abrielle Miller took a shot that went to the right of the net at the 23:46 mark before recording an attempt that was saved two minutes later. The programs would proceed to compete on the defensive end through the remainder of the half, as neither team took another shot on goal during this stretch. The Spartans led 1-0 as the game went into halftime.
Lebanon Valley continued its strong defensive effort when the second half got underway, as Porter made a save just 1:49 into the stanza. The goalie later had another important stop for LVC at the 56:13 mark. York then scored again 58:05 into the match, taking a 2-0 advantage on a goal by Gabby Jennings. The Dutchmen answered back at the 78:45 mark, narrowing the score to 3-1.
Darrian Berkheimer took a corner kick and sent the ball to Sedun, who took a shot that was blocked before kicking another attempt into the upper-right side of the net. Lebanon Valley proceeded to keep battling until the final minute, as the team scored again to trim its deficit to 3-2 with 2:43 remaining.
