SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Jordyn Grossman and
Sierra Young won back-to back events for the Lebanon Valley women's swimming team in a dual meet at Susquehanna University on Saturday.
The River Hawks won the meet 166-63.
Meet Highlights
- Grossman touched first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.74. She also finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a personal best time of 1:06.63.
- Young then took home gold in the 100-yard freestyle with a season best time of 57.65 seconds for her third event win of the weekend.
- Rachel King and Karly Kile had season best times in the 200-yard freestyle as King swam 2:15.93 and Kile touched in 2:22.59.
- Abby Nagle was third in the 50-yard backstroke with a season best time of 35.50 seconds. She then swam a season best time of 1:18.09 in the 100-yard backstoke.
- Noryan Mitchell had a personal best time of 36.99 seconds in the 50-yard breaststroke.
- Alex Janner swam a personal best time of 1:22.91 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Hollyn Helsel had a season best time of 1:21.00 to finish third in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- The Dutchmen had two best times in the 500-yard freestyle as King swam a season best 6:20.00 and Mitchell had another personal best time of 6:42.00.
- Cara Snook, Mitchell, Young, and Grossman were first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:51.81.
