ANNVILLE, Pa. – The NCAA announced in a selection show on Monday that the Lebanon Valley College softball team will host a Division III Regional from May 18 to 20 at LVC Softball Park. The Dutchmen qualified for the tournament through an at-large bid, earning their spot with a 32-9 overall record.
 
Lebanon Valley is coming of a campaign in which it had the best regular season record in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth, dominating the competition by posting its most wins since 2014. The team also received conference recognition for its solid season, as Sam Burns was named Player of the Year, Jordan Walter was selected as Pitcher of the Year and Scot Adams was voted Coach of the Year. The program had six student-athletes named to the All-MAC Commonwealth Softball Team as well.
 
The third-seeded Flying Dutchmen will host three teams this weekend, as the 15th-ranked and top-seeded University of Rochester (N.Y.), 24th-ranked and second-seeded Eastern Connecticut State (Conn.), and fourth-seeded Eastern Nazarene College (Mass.) are making the trip to Annville.
