ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team won their sixth consecutive match on Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 victory over visiting Alvernia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth contest at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
The Dutchmen (12-3, 4-0 MAC Commonwealth) handed Alvernia (4-6, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) their first conference loss of the year in a rematch of last year's semifinals. LVC swept the match winning all three points in doubles and all six points in singles.

- Justin Schuetz and Adam Warren continued their streak of 8-2 wins at number one doubles with their six consecutive victory and third by that score.
- Michael Schuetz and Jake Erb earned an 8-4 victory at number two doubles. The duo are 4-0 when playing together this year.
- Brendan Byler and Brian Ward earned the third doubles point with a win by default.
- Byler swept through his number five singles match 6-0, 6-0 for his fifth straight win.
- Justin Schuetz won his sixth consecutive match at number one singles with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
- Jesse Beck was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at number four singles to improve to 11-3 in duals this year.
- Bauer won his second straight 6-2, 6-2 match at number three singles and sixth consecutive match overall.
- Warren was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at number two singles for his fifth consecutive win.
- Michael Schuetz earned the final point in singles with a win by default.
- LVC has won their last 13 home matches dating back to last spring.
