ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley men's lacrosse first-year
Dylan Rinyak scored his first career goal on Saturday against Stevenson University in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth contest on Arnold Field. The visiting Mustangs won the game 22-7.
Stevenson (4-6, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) scored the first goal of the game in the first minute. LVC (6-5, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) struck right back as
Colin Hughes found
Jake Bollinger open for a goal. The mustangs responded with the next five goals to take a 6-1 lead.
Alex Kiviniemi stooped the run with an unassisted goal. Stevenson closed out the quarter with a pair of goals to take an 8-2 advantage. Kiviniemi cut the lead down to five with the first goal of the second quarter.
The Mustangs scored the final five goals of the half and first five goals of the third quarter to increase their lead to 17-3.
Jack Kapcsos and Rinyak scored back-to-back goals for the Dutchmen, but the Mustangs were able to build a 20-5 lead heading into the fourth. Both teams scored a pair of goals in the fourth. LVC received goals by
Trey Ralston and
Carson Frey.
