WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's tennis team went on the road to defeat host King's College 8-1 on Sunday afternoon at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre.
The Dutchmen (7-3) won all three doubles matches and then won five of the six singles matches against their future conference opponent.
Inside the Box Score
- Justin Schuetz and Adam Warren won their number one double match 8-2.
- Jesse Beck and Brendan Byler teamed up at number two doubles to win 8-3.
- Jeffrey Bauer and Brady McLucas completed the doubled sweep with an 8-5 win at number three.
- Schuetz won his number one singles match 7-5, 6-1.
- Beck was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at number five singles while Byler won 6-2, 6-1 at number six.
- Bauer won his number three singles match 6-3, 6-1 and McLucas was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at number four.
- The Dutchmen have won their last six meetings with King's including scoring eight points in the past three matches.
