RYE, N.Y. – Blake Tosto assisted on all three of the goals scored by the Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey team in a 6-3 decision at Manhattanville College on Saturday afternoon inside the Playland Ice Casino in Rye.
 
Manhattanville jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two goals in the first period and one midway through the second. Dylan Gutierrez put the Dutchmen on the board with a power play goal off assists from Brenden Yingling and Tosto. Darion Benchich cut the lead to one with a goal in the final minute of the second period off feeds from Tosto and Brad Viola. The Valiants scored first in the third with their first power play goal of the period. LVC was able to cut it back to one as Bunchich scored a short-handed goal with a little over five minutes left. Tosto and Eric Malcarney recorded assists on the goal. Manhattanville scored twice in the final 2:31 to set the final score.

• Benchich recorded his second multi-goal game of the weekend. He led the team with 13 shots.
• Tosto tied the program record with three assists in a game. He finished the weekend series with five assists and recorded his 40th career point.
• Gutierrez scored his first career goal while taking one shot.
• Viola blocked a team-high five shots while Mac diver blocked four.
• Chris Branch made 28 saves in goal including 10 in each of the second and third period.

LVC will close out the year with three of their final four games at Hersheypark Arena starting next weekend with two games against King' College. The Dutchmen and Monarchs will square off on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.
