NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley College football team was honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Tuesday, as 12 Dutchmen were selected to the All-MAC Football Team for their success this season. This is the program's most All-Conference selections since the team also received 12 honorees in 2013.
Sophomore fullback Drew Campbell and senior Jeremy Bours Jr. were named to the First Team. The program also had five Second Team selections, as sophomore running back Dion Bryant, sophomore offensive lineman Trevor Gallagher, senior defensive tackle Jake Marcus, senior defensive end Noah Caldani, and junior linebacker Jacob Horton were recognized. Additionally, junior quarterback Braden Bohannon, sophomore offensive lineman Hunter Hanna, junior kicker Tim Kissinger, senior safeties Erik Williams and senior Ryan Enright were the squad's five Honorable Mentions.
Campbell's First Team selection marks his first time on the All-MAC Football Team, recognizing his impressive season for Lebanon Valley. The fullback has contributed to Lebanon Valley's offensive success this season, helping the squad post a total of 300 points through 10 contests. Campbell has also posted 10 receptions for 88 yards, including a touchdown in the victory over Alvernia University on October 28.
Bours Jr. earned his first appearance on the All-MAC football team as well, capping off his season of conference accolades. The punter was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week four times this season, as well as to the D3football.com Team of the Week twice for his contributions to the Dutchmen. Bours Jr. has recorded 39 punts for an average of 37.54 yards this fall, which leads punters in the MAC. The senior delivered a season-long 56-yard punt during the victory against Misericordia University on September 16. Additionally, he has been the holder on most field goals this year and has blocked two kicks.
Bryant was named to the All-Conference Second Team for the first time in his career, earning recognition for his big sophomore campaign. In 10 games this fall, the running back has rushed for 536 yards and six touchdowns. Bryant also made a trip to the end zone on a receiving touchdown during the victory against Stevenson University on September 9. The sophomore played an integral role in LVC's victory over Eastern University on September 23 as well, rushing for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Gallagher also honored as an All-MAC selection for the first time, after contributing to the success of the offensive line this year. The sophomore was a part of the unit that has helped the Flying Dutchmen average 30.0 points per game this season. This offensive production ranks second among teams in the conference.
Marcus and Caldani represented Lebanon Valley's defensive line on the All-Conference Second Team. Marcus was named to the All-MAC squad for the first time while Caldani earned his second career All-Conference Team appearance, after being listed as an Honorable Mention in 2022. Caldani ranked second on the Dutchmen with 58.0 total tackles and 4.0 sacks. He recorded an interception in the victory against Misericordia on September 16 as well.
Marcus has led the program with 5.5 sacks, while registering 36.0 sacks in the process. He was also selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week on October 10 for his seven total tackles and three sacks during the 27-24 double-overtime victory over Widener University.
Horton earned his first All-MAC recognition as he was listed as a linebacker on the Second Team. The junior has led the Flying Dutchmen with 69.0 tackles this fall, including 3.5 sacks and an interception. Horton made a season-high 10 tackles during Lebanon Valley's 34-26 victory over Alvernia on October 28. The linebacker's interception also came in a thrilling double-overtime win against Widener on October 7.
Bohannon earned his first All-Conference selection by leading the Dutchmen offensively this year. The quarterback has rushed for a net of 748 yards and 14 touchdowns, both of which lead the team. He has also thrown for 980 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games this fall. Bohannon has been the leading scorer in the conference this year, averaging 8.4 points per game. The junior was instrumental in LVC's 45-38 win over Stevenson University on September 9, throwing for a campaign-high 226 yards with two trips to the end zone while rushing for 59 yards and a touchdown. Bohannon was honored as the MAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against the Mustangs.
Hanna was also presented with All-MAC honors for the first time, earning Honorable Mention recognition for his efforts on Lebanon Valley's offensive line. The sophomore has aided the Dutchmen in finding the end zone 39 times this season. The program's touchdown total ranks third among teams in the MAC.
Kissinger received All-Conference recognition for the first time in his career as well, playing a key role as the kicker for the Dutchmen this season. The junior went 34-for-37 on his extra points attempt while converting 10 field goal attempts, including a season-long 50-yard field goal against Stevenson. Kissinger also secured Lebanon Valley's 27-24 victory over Widener with a 20-yard field goal in double-overtime. The kicker was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week twice this year, including after this game-winning field goal against the Pride.
Williams and Enright were LVC's Honorable Mention representatives in the secondary. Williams received his third career selection to the All-MAC Team, following appearances as an Honorable Mention in 2022 and on the Second Team in 2021. Enright earned his first appearance to an All-Conference squad, following a big regular season for the Flying Dutchmen. Williams has made a total of 41 tackles this year, while intercepting a pass and returning it for a 60-yard touchdown during the 45-7 victory over Eastern.
Enright has also been a key contributor for Lebanon Valley, as he has recorded the third-most tackles on the team with 54. The senior made a season-high 15 tackles against Delaware Valley University on October 21, which earned him a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week.
