REISTERSTOWN, Md. – Anna Dale scored the first two goals of her career, including the game-winning goal, and Alexa Spiers added two goals as the Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey team picked up a big 5-3 road victory on Friday afternoon at Stevenson University.

The Dutchmen (2-3-0, 1-2-0 UCHC, 1-0-0 MAC) earned points against the Mustangs (0-5-0, 0-3-0 UCHC, 0-1-0 MAC) for the third straight meeting while earning the program's first-ever regulation win in Reisterstown after last year's tie and shootout win. Stevenson came out strong putting two shots on goal within the first two minutes that were knocked away by Mia Frisoni in goal. LVC held off the early attack and countered with the first goal of the game at 7:45 as Spiers lit the lamp for the third time this year. Erin Yorke and Chelly Wolff recorded assists on the go-ahead score. Stevenson attempted to even the score as they earned a power-play opportunity a couple minutes later. Kiley McCooey, Mallory Burdick, Ava Waugaman, Yorke,, Dale, and Oukes all had shots saved while Frisoni made four stops at the other end of the ice during the span. The Dutchmen broke through midway through the period as Cheyenne Wilk scored her first goal of the year to make it 3-1. Yorke had her second assist of the game on the goal. Stevenson was able to score a couple minutes later to bring it back to a one-goal game. The Mustangs used the momentum of the goal to end the period strong as they outshot the Dutchmen 10-1 over the final seven minutes. Frisoni stopped six shots while Julia Schafer and Wolff blocked a shot each.

Dale gave the Dutchmen a two-goal cushion early in the third period with her first career goal at 2:09. The Mustangs struck right back eight seconds later to make it 4-3. The teams battled up and down the ice as Stevenson looked to tie the game up while LVC looked to add to their lead. The Dutchmen were the victors of that battle as Dale struck again at 13:02 as she knocked in a rebound by McAuliffe.
