ANNVILLE, Pa.—A fourth-quarter touchdown scamper and a late defensive interception keyed the Lebanon Valley College football team to a 34-26 win over visiting Alvernia in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday, October 28. LVC improves to 5-3 overall and 5-2 in the MAC. Alvernia falls to 0-8 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
LVC was holding a slim 27-26 lead midway through the fourth quarter when 
Dion Bryant broke a 31-yard touchdown run to stretch the advantage with 2:28 remaining. 
Alvernia's last-chance drive stalled when 
Ryan Fink intercepted a Colin Payne pass near midfield to secure the win. It's the 12th interception by the LVC defense this season, and the only turnover generated on the day.
First-Half Highlights
LVC never trailed in the game, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the opening minutes. After Alvernia started the game with a three-and-out, 
Jeremy Bours Jr. blocked the punt to give the Dutchmen the ball inside the Alvernia 20. Four plays later, 
Braden Bohannon crashed into the end zone from the one-yard line. A 
Tim Kissinger 29-yard field goal put the Dutchmen in front 10-0 early in the second quarter.
Alvernia cut the lead to 10-7 on its next possession before another Kissinger field goal made the score 13-7. Kissinger leads the MAC with 10 made field goals this season.
The Golden Wolves answered right back as Payne found Dachan Thompson for a 74-yard touchdown. LVC special teams came up clutch again, 
Makih Cooper blocked the extra point, keeping the game tied at 13-13 going into halftime.
Second Half Scoring
The Dutchmen pulled back in front with a four-play, 57-yard drive that culminated in a 33-yard touchdown run by Bohannon. The Golden Wolves hit a big play of their own, with Payne connecting with Joseph Perkins on a 60-yard scoring strike.
LVC recovered quickly, going up 27-20 on its next possession thanks to great field position set up by 
Deshawn Wilson's 34-yard kickoff return to midfield. Bohannon connected with four different receivers on the drive, ultimately finding 
Drew Campbell for a five-yard touchdown with 3:29 remaining in the third quarter.
Alvernia's Shaymarr Wright brought the game to 27-26 in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter. This time, it was 
Luke Ordway on LVC's special teams, blocking the point after attempt.
Inside the Box Score
	- Bohannon led the Dutchmen with three touchdowns, two on the ground and one in the air. He finished 10-of-14 for 95 yards and rushed 20 times for 109 yards. Bohannon leads the MAC with nine rushing touchdowns and is fifth in rushing yards.
- Bryant, ninth in the conference in rushing yards, amassed a career-high 158 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries.
- Rylee Stahl (44 yards) and Malaki Blair (40 yards) led LVC's receivers.
- Jacob Horton continued his strong defensive season, totaling 10 tackles and a sack. His 57 total tackles are good for ninth in the MAC. Erik Williams and Fink each recorded seven stops.
- Taijay Brown returned two kickoffs for a total of 60 yards.
