ANNVILLE, Pa. – There was another short week for the Esports program as just two teams saw actionvwith three total matches that included two matches for NECC play and one match covering NACE competition over the past week.     

Rocket League— After squeaking by Alvernia last week, Rocket League moved on to face Grand Valley State University in NACE play where they entered the week undefeated at 2-0. LVC made quick work of the Lakers in a short and dominant 3-0 victory where they put 14 goals in the back of the GVSU net with 12 coming off the back of an assist. They currently are in first place in their division alongside Cincinnati at 3-0. The momentum continued to Friday where they faced one of their toughest matches yet in Carleton University as they looked to stay undefeated in regular season play. The team hit a bit of a speed bump to begin the match, falling in game one 5-1. The Dutchmen fought their way back and narrowly took down the Ravens in the next three games to take the series 3-1. The win extended their regular season undefeated streak to six. This week, the team will take on Oklahoma Christian in NACE action while they'll see the University of Mount Union in NECC play.

Valorant— After bouncing back against Marion Tech, Valorant looked ahead to Monday where they faced Robert Morris University. In the matchup with the Colonials, the team received a big series from duelist Ardit Sekiraqa that gave them the edge they needed to come out on top 2-0. The win gave them a 2-1 record in the division heading into Monday where they will take on Messiah looking to take their third straight series.
