Women’s Cross Country Run Through Rain at Home Meet

LEBANON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley women's cross country team waited out a short lightning delay and then ran through rain for the first half of the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational on Friday afternoon at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon.
 
Dani Fetterolf led the Dutchmen by finishing 34th out of 90 runners with a time of 28:18.43 on the 6,000-meter course. Caroline Borleis was not far behind her with a time of 28:28.82 with Ciara Millan right on her heels with a time of 28:30.59. Brooke Eberhard crossed the line in 30:4.73 and Alex Janner rounded out the top five with a time of 32:28.87. Lauren Murray ran 33:20.39
 
LVC finished seventh in the field with an average time of 29:37 and a five-runner split of 4:11. Division I Navy posted the top eight times to win the meet. Stevenson Unviersity was second and Mount St. Mary's was third.
 
The Dutchmen will be back in action next Saturday at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Misericordia University at Letterkenny Fields in Dallas.
